Summary of Results
OptiDiesel a 4th Generation Fuel Catalyst is a blend of metallic and organometallic catalysts in a solvent carrier that is added to fuel, and is the culmination of over 10 years of product research and development in the USA.
The catalysts in OptiDiesel promote oxygen free radical formation and also react with hydrocarbon free radicals formed during combustion.
From a technical perspective, oxygen free radical reactions enhance combustion efficiency and the reaction between OptiDiesel catalysts and hydrocarbon free radicals promote reduction reactions, thereby reducing pollutant emissions.
OptiDiesel is non-hazardous and non-flammable. OptiDiesel has proved to show no harm to engines.
The Proprietary Dosing System
Skid-based dosing systems
The skid-based dosing system (the dosing skid) is designed and manufactured to aircraft-specified size and mass for easy and quick delivery to any place in the world.
The dosing skid contains a coupling point for road tankers via a receiving flange. The pipe dimensions are determined by client requirement. During delivery the fuel flows through a temperature-compensated digital flow meter. The flow meter instructs the dosing pump to dose OptiDiesel to 0.0001ml per litre accuracy into the fuel according to the temperature corrected (20 C) flow before entering a mechanical agitator. The fuel is agitated through a patented pipe structure in order for OptiDiesel to be mechanically activated as fuel is pumped into the bulk fuel storage tank(s).
The dosing skid is capable of dosing fuel flows from 300 litres per minute to 3500 litres per minute. Designs for faster fuel flows are also available.
Fuel flows, and is simultaneously dosed, through the dosing skid into the bulk fuel storage tanks. Should the bulk fuel storage tanks be equipped with electronic level monitoring, such information can be reported back to the dosing skid. When fuel is dispensed to operating assets or to mobile bowsers, that in turn dispense to remote operating assets, the fuel volume dispensed, and the work done in hours or kms is recorded. Records of fuel dispensed coupled to work done can be relayed through the dosing skid via the internet and may be displayed as shown in the diagram below to enable comprehensive fuel reconciliation.
